We're able to give you most kinds of information, unless there's a good reason not to.
You can also get information we have about you, under the Information Privacy (IP) process. If some information we have about you is wrong, you can tell us to fix it.
Check if it's already online, or if we plan to release it in the future.
We also invite you to contact our Clinical Information Access Unit before you make an RTI or IP application. We may be able to help you find the information without using the RTI process.
You can apply online or download an application form on the Queensland Government's website.
If you download the form, send it to our Clinical Information Access Unit. Their details are below.
We will look at your application and decide if we can release the information you asked for.
If we can release it, we'll contact you with the information you asked for. If we can't release it, we will explain why.
If you’re not satisfied with our decision on your application, you can apply to have it reviewed. You need to do this within 20 business days from the date on the letter telling you our decision.
You can also ask the Information Commissioner to review our decision.
Contact our Information Access Unit for any questions.
