We believe it is important to develop and invest in new models of care. This is so we can support the solution to a growing demand on Queensland’s health services and encourage continuity of care in the community.

Our GP with a Special Interest Program supports this by engaging GPs in our hospital and health services across a range of specialties.

The program provides GPs with the opportunity to work part-time in hospital outpatient clinics, in areas of special interest in. GPs work in clinics under the supervision of a consultant.
